If the household also produces a product intended for sale, this activity must be classified in the corresponding product manufacturing sector of NACE. If the main activity is the production of a specific product for own use, it should also be classified in the relevant product manufacturing sector of NACE.

Definition / Belongs to this divisionThis division includes the activities of non - separable services provided by households for own consumption. This includes cooking, teaching, caring for household members and other services that provide for the household’s own care.

If the household also produces a product for own consumption in parallel, its activity is classified in the production of a product of the household for own consumption sector, see 98.10.
