- sickness, accident at work and unemployment insurance
- provision of old-age pensions, invalidity and accident invalidity pensions and relatives ('accident relatives') according to the compulsory insurance related to compensate for loss of income
- compulsory insurance for maternity, temporary incapacity for work, widowhood, etc. to compensate the loss of income
