The size of the farm is not a determining factor, but an important aspect is that neither crop nor livestock activities should exceed 66% of the farm unit's standard margin contribution. If an activity exceeds 66% of the standard gross margin of a given production unit, the activity carried out by the holding does not belong to this sector but should be classified as a corresponding crop or livestock activity.
